Back in Boston sunburnt, exhausted, but overall very happy. I can't begin to describe the experience that I have had this week. I am so sad to leave the island and the EI. I loved working with the children everyday, I felt so comfortable in that setting. I feel like I have really gotten a grasp on how I work and what my style is.
Not only was the setting wonderful but the people that I got to share this week with were some of the best around. I have never felt so comfortable around a group of people, and I am happy to call all of them my friends. All of them brought something unique and amazing to the group, they are all talented and I know that will make fantastic music therapists in the future. I am so grateful for them, they mean the world to me,
So although I am sad that I had to leave, I am happy that I had this week, it has taught me a lot and given me the time to grow closer with my friends. So thank you to all of those that helped to plan this trip and make it happen, you have really given me something that I will never forget.

Hi, my name is Racheal Lewis. I am currently attending Berklee College of Music in Boston and finishing up my final semester. I am doing my practicum this semester at Massachusetts General Hospital, after this in the fall I will be doing my internship at Mobile Music Therapy Services of Orange County. I'm looking forward to working with the people on the island and gaining some amazing experiences.
